My second painting practicing using my new oils... this is a scene from the coast of Oregon, sunset on the Pacific, the first time I've ever seen the pacific ocean. That was about five years ago, I took some great pictures that day.

I had a hard time only choosing one painting in ~SAM-halfshark's wonderful gallery. I finally decided on Skeleton of a Shipwreck because of the wonderful balance of tone and harmony within the palette, and the warmth and overall composition. ( Suggested by !Rainandstars and Featured by `limnides )

thanks, lol yea it's a bit old piece, but it still gets the most attention in my gallery... so the party is still going. Seems like everyone likes realism.
